As cities become more populated, green spaces within them become more precious. The need for trees, flowers and grass becomes pertinent.
Italian Architect Stefano Boeri is on the forefront of a trend in which urban greenery heads for the sky. His work in Mila take urban greenery to mixed use and residential towers. Known as urban forestry, his work inspires cities and architects around the world. Most known for his projects in Milan called Bosco, they serve as an example of how nature and cities can and should co-exist in harmony.
It is a well known and proven fact that forests and trees absorb a fifth of carbon emissions produced by our cities every year. Stefano has unified innovation, sustainability, and beauty.
Oliversity dived into the world of Instagram to source photographers who pay tribute to urban forestry. As our mission is based on natural, sustainable and cruelty free products, we wanted to support others who are capturing in photos this environmental architectural revolution.
